Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Field Surveyor. Highways, bridges and site work required

Qualifications
  • 5 plus years in land surveying for highways, bridges and sites, including boundary and ALTA, topographic, aerial ground control, construction layout, utility and horizontal/vertical control.
  • 3+ years experience in responsible charge for managing surveying on heavy construction projects i.e. bridges, highways.
  • Degree preferred, will consider experience in lieu of degree
  • PS or PLS preferred
  • Proficient in the use of GPS devices, Trimble and/or Topcon, total stations
  • Proficient in AutoCad/Civil 3D, Carlson, Microstation or equal
  • Ability to work outdoors under various conditions

Position Description

  • Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • 10 + years of heavy highway project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge with financials, budgets, forecasting, estimating and contracts.

  • Preparation of financial reports, pricing additional work and bidding new work.
  • Preparation and implementation of the division's financial projections, procurement and billing forecast for the Corp Plan, SG&A financial projections and quarterly results.
  • Planning, organizing, allocating resources and supporting the day-to-day operations of the division.
